Good read. There are computers available for less than 100 dollars, and operating systems for free. So I don't think technology is out of reach for any school now. Rather than purchasing quickly outdated textbooks, the money can be spent on digital access to up to date information that keeps pace.
Why does a plumber need to learn Prezi? In this day, the plumber needs to know how to communicate with customers, to market their services.... the business that is not connected to technology isn't going to make it long. I could totally see an online tool that customers could see online to learn about their household plumbing.
